IDHMC Fall Open House with Lisa Spiro

Now that we are settled in to our new building, it’s time to celebrate, and we can think of no better way to do that than to enjoy a talk by Dr. Lisa Spiro, a longtime supporter of IDHMC whose scholarship and activism in the field of DH continues to be an inspiration to us (and many others). Lisa will be presenting a talk, “Why Digital Humanities?” at 3:00 in LAAH 453. If you haven’t heard Lisa speak, you are in for a treat (and if you haven’t been keeping up with her blog, , Digital Scholarship in the Humanities you need to start!). The talk will be followed by a reception and poster session. Please come and help us kick off the new academic year in style!
