A Digital Humanities Database Course will be offered by the Initiative for Digital Humanities, Media, and Culture beginning Monday, May 15, 2017 through Friday, May 19, 2017. This week-long course will introduce the inner workings of databases and demonstrate hands-on work with participants’ own data-sets to learn more about concepts such as data normalization, relational table design, Structured Query Language (SQL), and effective long-term management.
