The Center of Digital Humanities Research (CoDHR) (formerly the Initiative for Digital Humanities, Media, and Culture) will be administered by the dean of the College of Liberal Arts and Dr. Laura Mandell, Professor of English, will serve as director.
CoHDR will assist faculty with developing collaborative research, funding and grant proposals, and provide the opportunity for big data research and assist faculty with the support needed to develop digital humanities resources for teaching, research, and publication.
The center will provide faculty and students with education, training, and professional development opportunities through its Programming4Humanists continuing education course, the DH Graduate Certificate, Digital Humanities Summer Institute fellowships, the Humanities Visualization Space (HVS), along with DH workshops and guest speakers, and targeted project development through its Faculty Fellowship awards and Summer Technical Assistance Grants.
